SING-A-LONG #1
Led by Cathy Clark

JINGLE BELLS
Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh,
O’er the fields we go laughing all the way.
Bells on Bobtail ring, making spirits bright;
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight.
Oh! Jingle, bells, jingle, bells,

jingle all the way!
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse,
open sleigh.

GOOD CHRISTIAN MEN, REJOICE
Good Christian men, rejoice
With heart and soul and voice;
Give ye heed to what we say:
News! News! Jesus Christ is born today!
Ox and ass before him bow,
And he is in the manger now,
Christ is born today! Christ is born today!

GO TELL IT ON THE MOUNTAIN
Go tell it on the mountain,
Over the hills and everywhere.
Go tell it on the mountain
That Jesus Christ is born!
While shepherds kept their watching
O’re silent flocks by night;
Behold throughout the heaven’s
There shone a holy li-ght. (Chorus)

DECK THE HALLS
Deck the Halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la – la la la la.
‘Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la – la la la la.
Don we now our gay apparel, Fa la la la la ...
Troll the ancient Yuletide carol, Fa la la la la...

SING-A-LONG #2
Jingle-Bell Rock

Jingle-bell, jingle-bell, jingle-bell Rock,
Jingle-bells swing and jingle-bells ring.
Snowin’ and blowin’ up bushels of fun,
Now the jingle-hop has begun.
Jingle-bell, jingle-bell, jingle-bell Rock,
Jingle-bells chime in jingle-bell time.
Dancin’ and prancin’ in Jingle-bell Square
In the frosty air.
What a bright time, it’s the right time
To rock the night away.
Jingle-bell time is a swell time
To go glidin’ in a one-horse sleigh.
Giddy-up, jingle-horse pick up your feet,
Jingle around the clock.
Mix and mingle in a jingle-in’ beat,
That’s the jingle-bell, That’s the jingle-bell
That’s the jingle-bell Rock!

Winter Wonderland

Sleigh-bells ring, are you listenin’?

In the lane, snow is glistnin’,

A beautiful sight, we’re happy tonight

Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland.

Gone away is the bluebird,

here to stay is a new bird.

He sings a love song as we go along

Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman,

Then pretend that he is Parson Brown;

He’ll say, “Are you married?”

We’ll say, “No, man!

But you can do the job

when you’re in town!”

Later on we’ll conspire as we dream by the fire,

To face unafraid, the plans that we made

Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland.

Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town

Oh, you better watch out, you better not cry,

Better not pout, I’m telling you why:

Santa Claus is comin’ to town!

He’s making a list and checking it twice,

Gonna find out who’s naughty and nice.

Santa Claus is comin’ to town!

He sees you when you’re sleeping,

He knows when you’re awake,

He knows if you’ve been bad or good,

KIDS: So be good for goodness’ sake.

Oh, you better watch out, you better not cry,

Better not pout, I’m telling you why:

Santa Claus is comin’ to town!

Angels We Have Heard On High

Angels we have heard on high,

Sweetly singing o'er the plains;

And the mountains in reply

Echoing their joyous strains:

Gloria In Excelsis Deo (x2)

SING-A-LONG #3

Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer

You know Dasher, & Dancer & Prancer, & Vixen;

Comet, & Cupid, & Donner & Blitzen;

But do you recall

the most famous reindeer of all?

Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Had a very shiny nose.

And if you ever saw it,

You would even say it glows!

All of the other reindeer

Used to laugh and call him names,

They never let poor Rudolph

Join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve,

Santa came to say:

KIDS: “Rudolph, with your nose so bright,

Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”

Then all the reindeer loved him

As they shouted out with glee:

“Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer,

You’ll go down in history!”

Hark, the Herald Angels Sing

Hark, the herald angels sing

“Glory to the newborn King;

Peace on earth and mercy mild,

God and sinners reconciled.”

Joyful, all ye nations, rise,

Join the triumph of the skies;

With angelic hosts proclaim:

“Christ is born in Bethlehem!”

Hark the herald angels sing,

“Glory to the newborn King!”

Up on the Housetop

Up on the housetop reindeer pause,

Out jumps good old Santa Claus;

Down through the chimney with lots of toys,

All for the little ones, Christmas joys.

Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?

Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go

Up on the housetop, click, click, click...

Down through the chimney

with good Saint Nick.

Feliz Navidad

¡Feliz Navidad! ¡Feliz Navidad!

¡Feliz Navidad, próspero año y felicidad! (repeat)

I wanna wish you a merry Christmas (x3)

From the bottom of my heart! (repeat)

SING-A-LONG #4

Silver Bells

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks

Dressed in holiday style,

In the air there’s a feeling of Christmas.

Children laughing, people passing,

Meeting smile after smile,

And on every street corner you hear:

Silver bells,* Silver bells *

It’s Christmas time in the city.

Ring-a-ling,* hear them ring *

Soon it will be Christmas Day!

City street lights, even stop lights

Blink a bright red and green,

As the shoppers rush home

with their treasures.

Hear the snow crunch, see the kids bunch,

This is Santa’s big scene;

And above all this bustle you hear: (Chorus)

The Christmas Song (Chestnuts…)

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,

Jack Frost nipping at your nose,

Yule-tide carols being sung by a choir

And folks dressed up like Eskimos.

Everybody knows some turkey

and some mistletoe

Help to make the season bright.

Tiny tots with their eyes all a-glow

Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

They know that Santa’s on his way;

He’s loaded lots of toys and goodies

on his sleigh.

And every mother’s child is gonna spy

To see if reindeer really know how to fly.

And so I’m offering this simple phrase

To kids from one to ninety-two;

Although it’s been said many times, many ways,

“Merry Christmas to you!”

Joy to the World!

Joy to the world, the Lord has come!

Let earth receive her King.

Let every heart prepare Him room,

And heaven and nature sing,

And heaven and nature sing,

And heaven, and heaven and nature sing!

He rules the world with truth and grace

And makes the nations prove

The glories of His righteousness

And wonders of His love,

and wonders of His love;

And wonders, wonders of His love.

Nur das traute hochheilige Paar.

Holder Knabe im lockigen Haar,

Schlaf in himmlischer Ruh! Schlaf in himmlischer Ruh!

Silent Night, Holy Night.

All is calm, all is bright.

Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child.

Holy Infant so tender and mild.

Sleep in heavenly peace.

Sleep in heavenly peace.
