Arts Scholarships
The Greater New Braunfels Arts Council is proud to support and encourage the next generation of artists through our annual Arts Scholarships. Each year, we award scholarships to graduating high school seniors from the New Braunfels/Comal County area who are pursuing a career in the arts. These scholarships help students further their education and artistic pursuits in fields such as visual arts, music, theater, dance, literature, and more.
We believe in the transformative power of the arts and the importance of nurturing young talent. By investing in these students, we help ensure that creativity and artistic expression continue to thrive in our community for generations to come.
2025 Scholarship Cycle Closed
The application period for the 2025 Arts Scholarships is now closed. Due to a limited number of entries this year, two scholarships will be awarded. We were inspired by the talent and dedication shown by all applicants and look forward to recognizing the selected recipients.
Scholarship winners will be honored on Friday, June 6, 2025, at our Art Haus on First Friday event in downtown New Braunfels. The celebration will take place from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in conjunction with our Poetry Contest Awards Ceremony, featuring live readings of the winning poetry submissions. Join us for an evening that celebrates the artistic achievements of our local youth and the power of creative expression.
