Arts Scholarships

The Greater New Braunfels Arts Council is proud to support and encourage the next generation of artists through our annual Arts Scholarships. Each year, we award three scholarships to graduating high school seniors from the [New Braunfels/Comal County area] who are pursuing a career in the arts. These scholarships are designed to help students further their education and artistic pursuits, whether they are planning to study visual arts, music, theater, dance, literature, or any other creative field.

 

We believe in the transformative power of the arts and the importance of nurturing young talent. By investing in the future of these students, we are helping to ensure that creativity and artistic expression continue to thrive in our community for generations to come.

 
Scholarship Details

  • Number of Scholarships: Three (3)

  • Eligibility: High school seniors in the [New Braunfels/Comal County] area who plan to pursue a college degree or professional training in the arts

  • Application Deadline: TBD

  • Scholarship Amount: TBD

  • Selection Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on artistic achievement, academic performance, and a personal statement outlining their passion for the arts and their career goals

Graduation
2024 Arts Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to the 2024 Arts Scholarship recipients! Three exceptional seniors from New Braunfels were each awarded $1,000 scholarships from the Greater New Braunfels Arts Council, Ballet Texas, and The Bock Family Partnership.

 

This year’s recipients are:

​

  • Kenadi Garner, who plans to pursue a career in Dance Science with the goal of owning her own studio

  • Rylee Kanz, who will pursue a career in jewelry design

  • Ava Brittingham, who aims to earn a degree in music therapy

 

We are incredibly proud to support these talented students as they take the next steps in their artistic journeys. Our goal is to provide students pursuing careers in the arts with the financial support and recognition they need to achieve their dreams.

 

We look forward to seeing how these bright young artists will continue to inspire and enrich the world with their creativity.
