Youth Photography Contest

Our 2025 Photography Contest, held on March 29, was a tremendous success with over 400 photo submissions—our largest number to date! This year marked a major milestone as the contest was officially recognized as a state-level competition for the first time.

We also introduced two distinct submission categories—digital and print—expanding the contest beyond its original digital-only format and giving students a broader platform to showcase their talent.

Of the 36 contest winners, 6 were returning participants from last year, and at least 5 have already expressed interest in competing again next year, a testament to the contest’s impact and continued growth. Each photo was judged seven times to ensure a fair and thorough evaluation process.

We were proud to have participation from students at:

• Pieper High School

• New Braunfels High School

• Steele High School

This was our fourth year hosting the contest in partnership with the New Braunfels Photography Club and Schertz Photography, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued collaboration.
